Hey there!
My name is Juul Jaspers and I’m currently doing an internship for Dutch Lady Vietnam Company as part of my study Industrial Engineering and Management at Twente University, the Netherlands. As my bachelor graduation project, I am investigating the inventory control at Dutch Lady. Working at Dutch Lady is a privilege, because the working atmosphere is great and I never have to explain anything about the company. Every Vietnamese knows Dutch Lady or Co Gai Ha Lan. To be a Dutch Lady within Dutch Lady is even more special.
It had always been clear to me that I wanted to go abroad during my studies. The choice for Vietnam was easily made: the country has a great working culture, a lot of opportunities and is developing really fast.
Now I’m here, in Ho Chi Minh City. I enjoy every moment I spend here. Meeting people is very easy. There are many other foreign interns and expats to share your experiences with and it is nice to explore together every single corner of the city. Integrating with the Vietnamese people is even more interesting. The opportunities are enormous: everyone wants to invite you for lunch or dinner at his/her place and make sure you don’t forget to join the karaoke afterwards!
So… Pack your bags and take the chance. I’m sure you will never regret it!
